Getrag HM290 5-Speed Manual Transmission

The Jasper HM290 is a fully remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission designed for 1988-1992 GM C1500 and C2500 trucks. This transmission, based on the Getrag HM290 model, includes an integral bell housing, a 3-rail internal shift mechanism, and an external slave cylinder. It also features a 2-inch speedo hole and corresponds to Hollander number 400-02254A. Each Jasper transmission undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to meet or exceed OEM specifications. This process begins with a pre-inspection to identify case cracks and excessive wear.
