Leveraging BRIDE's patented LOWMAX system, combined with an egg-shaped backrest, the ZIEG IV achieves an extremely low seating position. This setup is crucial for establishing an ideal eye point and driving posture without compromising visibility, making it perfect for competitive racing and sports driving scenarios. The seat's shell is constructed from Silver FRP, a material chosen for its balance of rigidity and formability, and it is FIA approved, meeting stringent international racing safety standards (FIA8855-1999) as well as Japanese automotive safety regulations. Further enhancing its functionality, the ZIEG IV incorporates advanced materials and manufacturing methods. The shell rigidity has been increased by 15% compared to previous FRP shells, utilizing a blend of glass fiber and aramid fiber. Both the seat and thigh cushions are made from newly adopted molded urethane, significantly improving comfort and durability for extended use. The design also includes vertical slits in the back cushion for a better fit around the head, back, and shoulders, maintaining an appropriate driving position comfortably over time. To prevent the "submarine phenomenon" during hard braking or accidents, the thigh area is designed with a lift. Additionally, large seat belt holes are incorporated to accommodate a wide range of racing harnesses and FHR systems, accommodating drivers of various heights. The shell material is available in Silver FRP, and the upholstery comes in Red fabric.
