The Gibson Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System is a single, stainless steel exhaust system designed for enhanced performance, including improved acceleration, towing, hill climbing, and passing power. It features a swept-side exit behind the rear tire. The system includes a Gibson Superflow Muffler with a baffled and chambered design, no internal packing, minimal interior drone, and an aggressive sound. Dyno testing shows average gains of 10-15 horsepower and 15-20 lb-ft of torque at 1800-3000 RPM. It's constructed with 3-inch 409 stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing and a 3.5-inch polished T304 stainless steel round slash-cut tip. The muffler is an 8-inch round body with a 2.5-inch dual inlet and 3-inch offset outlet, 24 inches in length. Installation is a hassle-free, bolt-on process with all necessary hardware and factory-style hangers included; no welding is required.
