The Gibson Black Elite Series (variant 65685B, assumed similar to 65685 with black tips) is crafted from T-304 stainless steel tips with a black ceramic finish. It's engineered for peak low-end torque and horsepower (1800-3000 RPM) with dyno-proven gains of 10-15 horsepower and 15-20 lb-ft of torque. It features a Superflow Muffler with a baffled & chambered design (no internal packing for durability) producing a deep, vigorous exhaust tone while minimizing cabin drone.
