Gin Turbocharger

The 27WON Gin turbocharger represents a new generation of performance upgrades for the 1.5T engine found in the 2022+ Honda Civic (Si and non-Si) and 2023+ Acura Integra. Engineered with years of R&D, this turbo aims to provide significant power gains while maintaining OE+ levels of refinement and fitment. It is capable of producing over 330+ Wheel Horsepower (WHP) and is designed to work within the confines of the stock block, internals, and fuel system. Key enhancements include enlarged compressor (47mm inducer/58mm exducer) and turbine (46.5mm inducer/41mm exducer) wheels compared to the OEM unit (36.3mm inducer/47.7mm exducer compressor, 42mm inducer/34mm exducer turbine). This optimization provides a stronger power band after approximately 3,250 RPM, delivering up to 140+ WHP and 130+ WTQ over stock. Buyers can choose between a standard Journal Bearing (JB) CHRA, a more cost-effective option for making more power, or a performance Ball Bearing (BB) CHRA. The BB option offers quicker spool, better response to throttle input, and increased durability for hard street driving or racing, potentially yielding an extra 5-10 WHP. This turbocharger also incorporates Anti-Surge Technology, featuring slots within the compressor cover to stabilize airflow, minimize air separation, and improve boost spool, drivability, and bearing longevity. It is a 100% brand-new unit with no core exchange required and includes all necessary gaskets and fittings for a straightforward installation, aiming for "drop-in" compatibility. To fully leverage the capabilities of the Gin turbo, custom tuning is required for the 2018-2022 Honda Accord 1.5T and is highly recommended for other applications. 27WON offers various KTuner Basemap and Custom Tune options, supporting 91/93 pump gas or E30 ethanol blends, developed in partnership with Innovative MotorWorks. An upgraded clutch and 27WON 4 BAR MAP sensors are also recommended for optimal performance and reliability.
