GiroDisc 05-10 Lamborghini Murcielago (w/8-Pot Front Caliper) Slotted Front Rotors

The Girodisc A1-097 system is a direct replacement and upgrade for the OEM front brake rotors on the 2005-2010 Lamborghini Murcielago with 8-pot front calipers. This two-piece floating rotor system features a central hat section made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum and a disc manufactured from proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in the USA. The rotors utilize a curved vane design for efficient cooling and a floating mount system with 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, cadmium plated for corrosion resistance, to manage heat expansion and eliminate noise. The system requires a supplied caliper spacer as the upgraded rotors are 380mm compared to the factory 365mm. This upgrade maintains factory brake bias and ABS efficiency while reducing rotational and unsprung weight, allowing for quicker acceleration and improved suspension response. The two-piece design also allows for disc-only replacement, minimizing future costs.
