Girodisc’s 402mm front iron rotor conversion provides Mercedes-Benz vehicles with superior braking consistency and durability compared to carbon-ceramic rotors. This direct bolt-on upgrade replaces the OEM carbon-ceramic setup with a lighter, more serviceable, and thermally stable iron rotor system, making it ideal for high-performance street driving and demanding track conditions. Each rotor is engineered in the USA with a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum hat for perfect fitment and corrosion protection. The proprietary high-carbon iron rotor rings feature a curved vane design that acts like a centrifugal pump, channeling cooling air to minimize heat soak and brake fade. The floating mount system utilizes twelve alloy steel pins with anti-noise spring washers to eliminate rattle while allowing proper expansion.
