Description

The Girodisc A1-187 is a set of front brake rotors designed as a bolt-on upgrade for Audi S6/S7 (C7) and S8 (D4) models. These two-piece rotors feature a curved vane design for enhanced heat control and a twelve-pin floating mount system. They are constructed with 6061-T6 aluminum hats and high-carbon iron rings, domestically manufactured.

The rotors are lighter than stock, weighing approximately 29.3 lbs compared to the ~33.3 lbs stock rotors, helping to reduce unsprung mass. The serviceable two-piece build allows for replacement of worn rings while reusing the hats. These rotors are also noted as being quiet and smooth for street use.
