Description

The Girodisc A1-159 is a high-performance 2-piece slotted front brake rotor upgrade designed for McLaren 570S and 570GT models equipped with Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes. This system is engineered as a direct replacement for the original equipment (OE) disc, eliminating the need for any modifications during installation. The 2-piece design typically features an aluminum hat bolted to an iron friction surface, offering advantages such as reduced unsprung weight, improved heat dissipation, and resistance to warping compared to single-piece rotors. The slotted friction surface helps to degas the brake pads, maintain a clean pad surface, and improve initial bite, contributing to consistent braking performance in demanding conditions.
