GiroDisc 2017+ Audi TT RS (8S) Slotted Front Rotors

Girodisc A1-179 front rotors are a direct replacement for OE discs, requiring no modifications and working with OE calipers. They maintain factory bias and ABS efficiency. These rotors weigh approximately 22.0 lbs each, significantly less than the 27.4 lbs of stock units, which reduces rotational and unsprung weight for improved acceleration and suspension response. The central hat section is made from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft-spec aluminum, while the disc is crafted from a proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in-house in the USA. They feature a curved vane design for optimal cooling. The floating mount system utilizes 8 or 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, cadmium plated for corrosion resistance, which allow for axial and radial float. These pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers. Anti-noise spring washers prevent rattle when cold and allow for heat expansion, ensuring silent operation and allowing the rotor to self-center between the pads. These rotors are also cryogenically treated for maximum rotor life and are sold and priced per pair.
