GiroDisc specializes in engineering and manufacturing two-piece rotor solutions. These direct bolt-on two-piece rotors are lightweight, reducing an average of four to eight pounds of unsprung weight, and offer superior heat dissipation over traditional one-piece rotors. This translates to improved braking performance and eliminates the likelihood of stress fractures in the rotor surface with repeated heat cycles. GiroDisc replacement rotor rings are sold in pairs and include replacement hardware. They are designed to work only with existing Girodisc hats, not with other brands or factory 2-piece rotors. GiroDisc rotors are made of 6061-T6 aluminum for the central 'hat' section, with the discs themselves being cast iron to the exact specifications used in professional racing organizations. All components are designed and manufactured completely in-house using solely US-sourced raw materials. GiroDisc rotors require no additional modification to the braking system and include any additional parts such as caliper spacers and longer bolts in the kit if needed.
