GiroDisc 2019+ McLaren Senna (Iron Conversion) Slotted Front Rotors

The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for OE discs, requiring no modifications and working perfectly with OE calipers. It reduces rotational and unsprung weight, leading to quicker acceleration and improved suspension response. The central hat section is made from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in-house at Girodisc in the USA. It features a curved vane design for cooling and a floating mount system with high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc and cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. These pins allow axial and radial float between the hat and disc, secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. Anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side prevent noise when cold while allowing for heat expansion. The float also allows the rotor to self-center between the pads. When the cast iron rotor wears, it can be replaced separately, reusing the Girodisc hats. When used with performance pads and hi-temp fluid, it provides a solution to overheating or warping rotors.
