Girodisc A1-133 is a 2-piece slotted front brake rotor system, designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for OEM carbon-ceramic rotors on Ferrari F430 models. This system significantly reduces unsprung and overall weight, improves heat control, and lowers maintenance costs compared to the original setup. It features a 6061-T6 aluminum hat and a cast iron disc with curved vanes, utilizing a floating mount system with cadmium-plated alloy steel drive pins and anti-noise spring clips. The slotted design effectively cleans the pad surface, prevents contaminant buildup, and maintains consistent wet weather brake response. These rotors are engineered for both street and track use, preserving factory brake balance, ABS, and pedal feel. They require brake pads with an annulus of 66mm or less.
