GiroDisc Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (991) Slotted Front Rotors

The Girodisc A1-238 is a 2-piece slotted front brake rotor system designed as a direct replacement for OEM discs on specific Porsche models. It aims to reduce unsprung and overall vehicle weight while increasing ventilation and cooling capacity. The central hat section is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum, and the disc is made from a proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in the USA. It features a curved vane design for cooling and a floating mount system with 12 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. These pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers and anti-noise spring washers to prevent noise and rattling, allow for heat expansion, and self-center the rotor between the pads. This system is compatible with factory unmodified pads and calipers.
