Overview

The LIFE INDUST. 1064 Git Rot Kit is a two-part liquid epoxy designed to saturate and restore structural strength to dry-rotted wood. It works by bonding with loose rotted fibers, penetrating the wood to restore its original integrity.

This kit requires the wood to be dry for application, which is done by injecting the mixture into the affected area. The epoxy will soak into the wood via capillary action. It has a pot life of one-half hour after mixing and cures overnight. The treated wood becomes sandable, paintable, drillable, and screwable.
