Glacier Titanium Downpipe

This design is similar to the one used by Mazda in their Mazdaspeed turbo system. Flyin' Miata has recently revisited the design to improve efficiency and decrease backpressure without compromising durability. The outlet is coated in C-7900 Glacier Titanium, providing a high-temperature resistance of 1,800°F (980°C). This new design is a direct replacement for previous Flyin' Miata turbine outlet castings. Due to the decreased backpressure, users may need to adjust their boost control to prevent overboosting. The turbine outlet is compatible with all Flyin' Miata turbos utilizing a Garrett turbocharger and is included in all new Flyin' Miata turbo systems. Early Miata models with a one-piece downpipe will require the lower section as well, while those already equipped with a turbine outlet casting can reuse their existing lower section. Older sleeve bearing turbos may require modifications, specifically enlarging a couple of holes in the outlet. Hardware and studs are included with the unit. This turbine outlet does not fit the stock Mazdaspeed turbo. For those building their own downpipe, the bolt circle on the bottom of the outlet is 3.675" (center-to-center), with bolts positioned 90° apart. The outlet's inner diameter is 2.5". The product comes with a 1-year warranty.
