The BDS Suspension Glide-Ride rear leaf springs are engineered to enhance the rear suspension of your lifted 1974-1990 Jeep J10, J20, or Wagoneer, providing a 4-inch lift. These springs are designed with a progressive, multi-leaf rate that ensures a smooth ride whether the vehicle is unloaded, carrying moderate loads, or fully loaded. This innovative triple-stage design engages secondary and overload leafs as needed, maintaining ride quality without sacrificing payload capacity. These rear leaf springs also work to reduce axle wrap, offering a more controlled and stable feel throughout the suspension cycle. They feature anti-friction pads for a smooth and quiet operation. It's important to note that bushings are required for installation and must be purchased separately. Additionally, these leaf springs are not intended for use beyond the truck's maximum payload capacity; supplemental rear air bags are recommended for heavy payload applications. Fitment is specific to 1974-1990 Jeep J10/J20 and Wagoneer models. A critical note for 1974-1975 models requires a 131-inch wheelbase and a GVWR of 7200 lbs or more for the #004408 rear springs to fit correctly. The springs measure 53-5/8 inches in length.
