Global West 4-Bar Tubular Export Brace

The Global West TS-46 is a 4-bar tubular export brace engineered to significantly stiffen the shock towers on 1964, 1965, and 1966 Ford Mustangs. This robust brace is designed as a direct replacement for the stock stamped steel unit, offering enhanced structural support for performance driving and improved handling. The rigid, 4-bar construction eliminates deflection and potential loosening, ensuring maximum stability. Installation involves attaching the brace to the firewall using the provided new flange bolts and nuts. A crucial component of the kit is the included support plate, which sandwiches the firewall at the mounting location, strengthening the connection. It is compatible with stock shock brackets and the Global West coilover kit. Note that installation requires minor grinding on both shock towers and removal of the factory spot-welded tabs on the side of the shock tower. The brace itself is constructed from tubular steel and finished with a black powder coat for durability and corrosion resistance. The addition of this export brace, especially when combined with a Monte Carlo bar, creates a highly rigid engine bay support system.
