It is explicitly not compatible with Alpina vehicles. Installation requires transferring all electronics, wires, and the airbag from your original steering wheel to the new Carismo wheel. For vehicles equipped with driver assistance or Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), a separate solution can be added, though retention of these features is not guaranteed and may require aftermarket coding. If the vehicle has a heated steering wheel from the factory, this functionality can be retained at an additional cost, but only for the upholstered sections. For models with RPM LED shift lights, connection to the OBD2 port is necessary, and this port cannot be occupied by other devices like piggy-back tunes. Professional installation by an experienced technician is mandatory for LED steering wheels.
