The Mobil Glygoyle 100 is a fully synthetic, polyalkylene glycol (PAG) compressor oil.

This oil offers exceptional EP/antiwear protection for critical components, a high level of micropitting protection for sensitive gear systems, and protection against rust and corrosion. It also resists foam buildup, provides excellent lubricity, and has a low traction coefficient for increased energy efficiency and reduced operating temperatures. The oil exhibits very good thermal and oxidative stability to minimize sludge and deposits.

The Mobil Glygoyle 100 is a superior performance gear, bearing, and compressor oil designed to offer outstanding efficiency, extended oil life, and robust equipment protection. This oil provides exceptional EP/antiwear protection for critical equipment components and a high level of micropitting protection for sensitive gear systems. It also offers reliable protection against in-service rust and corrosion, while resisting foam buildup. The inherent lubricity of this fully synthetic lubricant, coupled with a low traction coefficient, contributes to increased energy efficiency and reduced bulk oil and system temperatures. Furthermore, it boasts very good thermal and oxidative stability, which helps to minimize sludge formation and deposits, ensuring cleaner operation and extended equipment lifespan. The Mobil Glygoyle Series is specifically formulated to outperform mineral and PAO synthetic lubricants in gear and hydrocarbon gas compression applications. In worm gears, its unique properties enable more torque transfer while often lowering operating oil sump temperatures, leading to extended seal, oil, and gearbox life. For gas compressors, the limited solubility of hydrocarbons in Mobil Glygoyle Series oils reduces lubricant dilution and enhances equipment protection. Compared to mineral and PAO oils, it offers increased thermal conductivity of about 10%, leading to lower operating temperatures and longer component life.
