The Mobil Glygoyle 460 is a fully synthetic compressor oil designed for superior performance, efficiency, and equipment protection. This polyalkylene glycol (PAG) lubricant offers exceptional EP/antiwear protection, resistance to foam buildup, and excellent lubricity. It provides increased energy efficiency and reduced system temperatures due to its low traction coefficient and very good thermal and oxidative stability, which also minimizes sludge formation and deposits.

The Mobil Glygoyle ISO 460 Compressor Oil is a high-performance, fully synthetic lubricant formulated with polyalkylene glycol (PAG) base oils. The oil is specifically developed for use in gear, bearing, and compressor applications, particularly excelling in worm gears and hydrocarbon gas compression systems. This lubricant provides exceptional extreme pressure (EP) and antiwear protection for critical components, along with a high level of micropitting protection for sensitive gear systems. It offers robust defense against rust and corrosion in service, demonstrates resistance against foam buildup, and possesses excellent inherent lubricity. A key advantage is its low traction coefficient, which translates to increased energy efficiency and lower bulk oil and system temperatures. Furthermore, its very good thermal and oxidative stability helps to reduce sludge formation and deposits, contributing to longer equipment lifespan. The Mobil Glygoyle Series exhibits a wide operating temperature range due to its high Viscosity Index (VI), with the ISO 1000 grade having a VI of 285. While PAG lubricants can absorb more water than mineral or PAO oils, Mobil Glygoyle Series oils pass major rust tests and have good yellow metal compatibility. However, it is not recommended for use in areas where saltwater contamination is expected. The ISO 150 to 1000 grades are NSF H1 registered and comply with FDA regulations for lubricants with incidental food contact.
