The Mobil Glygoyle Series 680 is a high-performance, fully synthetic polyalkylene glycol (PAG) lubricant engineered for demanding gear, bearing, and compressor applications. Developed to exceed the capabilities of conventional synthetic lubricants and mineral oils, it delivers outstanding efficiency, extended oil life, and robust equipment protection. Key benefits include exceptional extreme pressure (EP) and antiwear protection for critical components, a high degree of micropitting protection crucial for sensitive gear systems, and excellent resistance against rust and corrosion. It also combats foam buildup and provides superior lubricity. The lubricant's low traction coefficient contributes to increased energy efficiency and reduced operating temperatures within the system, while its very good thermal and oxidative stability minimizes sludge formation and deposits. Specifically designed to outperform mineral and PAO synthetic lubricants in gear and hydrocarbon gas compression, the Mobil Glygoyle 680 offers enhanced torque in worm gears and can lower operating oil sump temperatures, leading to extended seal, oil, and gearbox life. In gas compressors, its limited solubility with hydrocarbons helps reduce lubricant dilution and improves equipment protection. This product is NSF H1 registered and compliant with Title 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental food contact.
