It replaces the factory intercooler with an all-aluminum, bar-and-plate cooler core and TIG-welded cast-aluminum end tanks, offering a 2.4 times larger core (140% increase) and reducing air pressure drop by 77% and IATs by up to 30°F for improved performance, efficiency, and engine longevity.
