Description

The ATK HP79 is a Ford 302 Base Engine, producing 300 horsepower and 336 lb-ft of torque. It features a seasoned OE roller block (1987-1995) with a 4.040” x 3.000” bore/stroke and 302 cubic inch displacement. The engine utilizes an OE 1-piece seal external balance 50oz crankshaft, OE rods, and hypereutectic pistons with 9.1:1 compression and moly rings. It includes a hydraulic roller camshaft with specs of 219/219 @50 .498in/.498ex 110LSA, a double roller timing chain, and OE E5TE/E7TE 62cc cylinder heads with 1.77/1.46 valves. The rocker arms are stamped steel 1.6 pedestal mount. It comes with a front sump oil pan and a Melling high volume oil pump.
