The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2118A-P is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for GM 8.0-inch differentials. This unit features a 3.42 gear ratio and includes the G80 Posi Traction feature for enhanced traction. It is specifically intended for 2002-2005 GMC Envoy and Chevrolet Trailblazer models. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously inspects all components. Tubes are straightened to meet OEM specifications, and housings are thoroughly checked for surface wear and cracks. A 100% inspection of all internal parts, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carrier, is performed. To ensure longevity and precision, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. This axle assembly is delivered in a clean, hydro-blasted finish, restoring the OEM look. The correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for optimal setup and durability. It's important to note that this is an assembly-only unit and does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately.
