This comprehensive kit replaces key differential components, including the ring and pinion set and the positraction unit, with upgraded parts from Yukon Gear and Axle. The kit is designed to fit GM 8.2” Buick/Olds/Pontiac differentials, featuring a 3.90 gear ratio for improved acceleration and a 27-spline pinion gear. The included Yukon Dura Grip positraction limited-slip differential (LSD) has 28 splines, providing enhanced traction and control. This re-gear kit is ideal for classic muscle cars and hot-rod builds. Its compatibility extends to specific models such as the 1964-1972 Olds 442, 1964-1972 GTO, 1967-1972 Firebird, and 1969-1972 Trans Am, as well as other models equipped with a GM 8.2” Buick/Olds/Pontiac differential.
