GM 8.25" IFS Remanufactured Axle Assembly 3.42 Ratio

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA440-1472 is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically engineered for GM 8.25" IFS (Independent Front Suspension) systems. This unit is built to exacting standards, ensuring precision setup and longevity through correct rolling torque established via inch-pound measurements. Each axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt. Zumbrota Drivetrain replaces 100% of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. Furthermore, all internal components, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo thorough inspection and testing. The housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro-blasting and rinsing process, which restores them to an OEM finish, and are also tested for surface wear and cracks. This remanufactured axle assembly is designed for 2013-2018 GM 1500 Trucks and 2013-2020 GM SUVs equipped with the GM 8.25" IFS and a 3.42 gear ratio. The unit has a fluid capacity of 1.51 quarts and requires Non-Synthetic 80w-90 fluid. It is shipped in high-density plastic totes to minimize the risk of in-transit damage.
