The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1837B is a remanufactured axle assembly for GM 8.5-inch, 1995-1999 Suburban 1500 models. It features a 3.73 gear ratio and a Posi LSD (Limited Slip Differential) with G80 Posi Traction.

This assembly is designed for 2WD vehicles with 5-lug axles. All internal parts are inspected, and bearings, seals, and shims are replaced. The housings are hydro blasted to an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established for precision setup.

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1837B is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for 1995-1999 GM Suburban 1500 2WD vehicles equipped with 8.5-inch ring gears and 5-lug axles. This unit comes with a 3.73 gear ratio and features a Posi LSD (Limited Slip Differential) with G80 Posi Traction for enhanced traction. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for cracks and surface wear. A comprehensive 100% inspection is performed on all internal components, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutch, and carrier. To ensure longevity and precision, Zumbrota Drivetrain replaces all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. The housings undergo a hydro blasting process to restore them to their original OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements. This assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately. A refundable core charge of $400 applies to this purchase, which is returned upon receipt of your old, salvageable part for recycling or rebuilding.
