The EngineQuest EQ-CH402B is a V cylinder head engineered for GM Duramax Diesel engines, designed to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Manufactured from the highest grade of material, it offers increased strength through thicker decks and improved flow characteristics thanks to a superior port finish. This design also helps to resist cracking, providing a more robust and durable component for your engine. Key specifications include a port volume of 246cc, a valve head diameter of 2.00 inches, and intake valves measuring 2.06 inches by 3/8 inches by 5.22 inches. The exhaust valves are 1.72 inches by 3/8 inches by 5.35 inches. The chamber volume is 71cc +/- 2cc, and it features stock spark plug location. The material is cast iron. This cylinder head is specifically designed for 2006-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 2500 HD Classic, 3500, and 3500 Classic models, as well as 2006-2007 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, 2500 HD Classic, 3500, and 3500 Classic models. It is compatible with the 6.6L V8 Duramax Diesel engine, particularly those with the LBZ casting/OEM designation (VIN code 'D').
