Description

JE Piston's 360825 is a forged piston kit for GM LT1 (Gen V) engines. These asymmetrical FSR (Forged Side Relief) pistons are designed for popular stroke and rod combinations while preventing reluctor wheel clearance issues. The asymmetrical design features a larger skirt on the major thrust side for strength and a smaller skirt on the minor thrust side to reduce friction. They are lightweight, durable, and machined for 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 3.0mm rings. The kit includes accumulator grooves, double pin oilers, an offset wrist pin (pin #927-2250-15-51C (106g) and #943-2250-20-51C), and round wire locks #927-073-MW. With a 59cc combustion chamber, the compression ratio is 10.0:1. Note: Stock rods may require honing for the .927" diameter pin, and milling of the rod balance pad might be necessary due to factory variations.
