At its core, the kit includes a transmission adapter and flexplate designed to connect a 6BT Cummins engine to popular Chevrolet automatic transmissions such as the TH400, 700R4, or 4L80E. It also features a GForce 2-inch drop engine crossmember (K Member) that allows for optimal engine positioning within the chassis and adds necessary strength to support the Cummins' significant torque. Additionally, a dedicated motor mount is included to ensure proper engine placement onto the OEM frame mount isolators, which, when used with the GForce drop crossmember on 4WD models, helps maintain stock drivetrain height without requiring a body lift. This kit is specifically engineered for 1973-1987 GM K Series trucks, accommodating 1989-2002 model year Cummins 6BT engines. The included adapter and flexplate assembly is compatible with 2002 and earlier Cummins engines. The kit also comes with all necessary bolts for the adapter plate, flexplate, and starter.
