Description

This Advance Adapters kit allows for the connection of a GM NV4500 4WD transmission to a GM NP205 transfer case. The adapter itself is 6.375 inches in length, and the overall length of the transmission and adapter combined is 19.250 inches. It is constructed from 356 T6 heat-treated aluminum alloy and includes a provision for a transmission mount. The kit contains an adapter housing, adapter plate, transfer case linkage mounting bracket, transmission mount spacer, coupler, sealed bearing, 2-piece set collar, NP205 front gasket, seal, fastening hardware, and detailed adapter instructions. Some installations may require shortening the existing transmission main shaft.
