The Hooker BlackHeart engine mount is a heavy-duty, two-piece clamshell housing designed for GM LS and Gen 5 LT engines. It features 11-gauge steel construction with reinforcement ribs for enhanced strength and durability. The mount comes with a black powdercoat finish.

This engine mount serves as a direct factory replacement for 4th Gen F-Body cars, helping to maintain correct drivetrain geometry. Each vehicle requires two of these mounts, which are sold individually.

The Hooker BlackHeart Heavy Duty LS Clamshell Engine Mount is engineered for GM LS and Gen 5 LT engines, offering a robust solution for engine mounting and swap applications. Constructed from heavy-duty 11-gauge steel with integrated reinforcement ribs, this mount is built for strength and longevity. It features a durable black powdercoat finish for resistance to the elements. Designed as a direct factory replacement for 4th generation F-Body vehicles, this clamshell mount ensures that critical drivetrain geometry is maintained, facilitating a smoother installation and optimal performance. Its two-piece, bolt-together design eliminates the need to drill out existing rivets, simplifying the installation process. The hardware kit required for assembly is included. This engine mount is intended for use with Hooker BlackHeart LS/LT Polyurethane Inserts, available separately in black (P/N 71221016HKR) or red (P/N 71221017HKR). Each vehicle requires two of these clamshell mounts; they are sold individually as one upper and one lower plate. The mount is compatible with Gen III/IV LS engines and is specifically noted for 4th Gen F-Body applications.
