GM LS-Series Exhaust Manifold Set

The Hooker Headers 8501-1HKR exhaust manifolds are engineered for GM LS-Series engines produced between 1998 and 2012. Crafted from durable Hi-Silicon-Moly Ductile Iron and finished in a corrosion-resistant silver ceramic metallic coating, these manifolds are built for longevity and performance. Featuring 1.625-inch primary tubing and a 2.25-inch collector diameter, the 8501-1HKR boasts a "Tight Tuck" design. This contouring allows the manifolds to hug the engine block closely, facilitating installation in a wide range of replacement and engine-swap applications. The design also aims exhaust gases directly towards the exit port for enhanced flow and improved performance, recommended for engines up to 500 horsepower. These cast iron manifolds provide years of leak-free operation and help reduce under-hood noise compared to traditional headers. Their shorty design also allows exhaust tubing to be routed close to the frame and floor pan, maximizing ground clearance. The 2-bolt exit flange configuration and the materials used contribute to their durability and resistance to corrosion. It is important to note that these manifolds are not compatible with 2004-2006 GTO starters/bellhousings. Additionally, they are not suitable for LS7/LS9 engines. These exhaust manifolds are currently discontinued and no longer orderable.
