GM LT1 ASYMMERICAL KIT

The JE Pistons 338684 is a high-performance piston kit designed for GM LT1 (Gen V) engines. This kit features an asymmetrical FSR (Forged Side Relief) forging design, which optimizes skirt size for reduced friction on the minor thrust side while maintaining strength on the major thrust side. These pistons are lightweight and durable, manufactured from 2618 forged aluminum. They are machined for 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 3.0mm rings, and include accumulator grooves, double pin oilers, and an offset wrist pin. The kit is designed to accommodate popular stroke and rod combinations while addressing reluctor wheel clearance issues. It includes eight pistons and wrist pins (#927-2250-15-51C, 106g each) and round wire locks (#927-073-MW). With 59cc chambers, these pistons yield a 10.0:1 compression ratio.
