GM LT1 ASYMMERICAL KIT

The JE Pistons 338679R is a set of forged pistons designed for GM LT1 Gen V engines. These pistons feature an asymmetrical FSR (Forged Side Relief) forging design, which provides a larger skirt on the major thrust side for increased strength and a smaller skirt on the minor thrust side to reduce friction. They are machined for 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 3.0mm rings and include accumulator grooves, double pin oilers, and an offset wrist pin.

With a bore size of 4.065 inches, these pistons are a direct fit for specific LT1 Gen V applications. The set includes all necessary components for installation, along with notes regarding stock rod modifications which may be required, such as honing to accept the .927" diameter pin and potential milling of the rod balance pad.
