Description

These rings feature a plasma-moly coated top ring and a cast iron second ring, both with 5/64 inch thickness. The oil ring has a 3/16 inch thickness and a shallow groove. This set is designed for a 4.020 inch bore.

These piston rings are installer-friendly and pre-lapped to seat immediately, virtually eliminating break-in time. The compression rings have a barrel-faced contact area for efficient compression and CNC-controlled gap chamfer to optimize compression and reduce blow-by. The intermediate rings feature a reverse twist design for better groove side sealing. The CP-20 oil ring assemblies have a 20-degree ear angle for optimal side seal and a special chemical polish for enhanced oil drain back. This set is sold as 8 sets.
