Description

The Clevite 40784 is an engine piston ring set designed for optimal performance. These rings are pre-lapped for immediate seating, virtually eliminating break-in time. Their materials and coatings are optimized for reduced friction and extended life.

The compression rings feature a barrel-faced contact area for efficient compression and a CNC-controlled gap chamfer to reduce blow-by. The intermediate rings have a reverse twist design for better groove side sealing. The CP-20 oil ring assemblies include a 20-degree ear angle for a superior side seal.
