Show original supplier description
The ACDelco Gold (Professional) 38166 Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly is engineered to ensure your accessory belt drive system operates optimally. This component is crucial for maintaining the precise tension required by serpentine belts, preventing issues like belt slippage or premature wear on other drive components. Constructed from durable thermoplastic with a 6-rib serpentine pulley, this tensioner assembly features dimensions of 76 mm x 17 mm x 25, with a pulley outside diameter of 3.0 inches and a width of 0.984 inches. The pulley has a center bore diameter of 0.669 inches (17mm) and a single mounting hole for straightforward installation. Importantly, this tensioner assembly does not require programming. This ACDelco Gold part is manufactured to meet rigorous standards for fit, form, and function, serving as a reliable aftermarket replacement for Original Equipment (OE) parts. It is a smart choice for General Motors vehicles and is compatible with most makes and models, including special applications. Vehicle Fitment: This tensioner assembly is compatible with select Oldsmobile models, specifically the 1999-2002 Intrigue (3.5L V6 Gas) and the 2001-2002 Aurora (Base, 3.5L V6 Gas). Always consult your vehicle owner's manual or an expert technician before performing any repairs or adjustments.
