The DEI Reflect-A-GOLD Heat Reflective Tape is a 1.5-inch by 30-foot roll designed to protect engine components from excessive heat. It is constructed from a state-of-the-art polymer laminated glass cloth with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for easy application.

This tape can shield components like fuel lines, wire bundles, intercoolers, oil pans, and firewalls from radiant heat generated by exhaust manifolds, headers, or turbochargers. It operates at temperatures up to 850°F and reflects 80% of radiant heat.

The DEI Reflect-A-GOLD Heat Reflective Tape is a versatile solution for protecting engine bay components from extreme heat. Featuring a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, the Reflect-A-GOLD tape offers easy installation and removal. It can be applied to a variety of components including valve covers, intercooler piping and cores, firewalls, the underside of the hood, intake manifolds, intake shields, and radiator tops. With an operating temperature of up to 850°F, it reflects 80% of all radiant heat, making it ideal for managing thermal loads in high-performance applications.
