The STILLEN Gold Series Performance Oil Cooler, street kit, is engineered to maintain optimal oil temperatures for Nissan 350Z (2003-2009) and Infiniti G35 (2003-2007) models. By circulating hot oil outside the engine through a high-efficiency cooler, it can achieve an oil temperature reduction of 30°F to 40°F. This is crucial for preventing oil overheating, which can lead to reduced power output in high-performance scenarios, and for extending the life of critical engine components like piston rings, bearings, and skirts. This kit utilizes a 19-row x 11.25" STILLEN core, known for its performance and value, and features integrated fittings to eliminate cross-threading issues. Installation requires drilling mounting holes and includes all necessary adapters, fittings, and hoses. Instructions are provided. A critical note for installation: All oil cooler kits equipped with thermostatic plates MUST use Fram Oil Filter #PH3950 or an equivalent to ensure a proper seal. Furthermore, this oil cooler kit cannot be mounted on a 370Z equipped with a long and low aftermarket cold air intake system due to potential interference. These kits will not fit Nismo 370Z models without custom modifications, and instructions for such modifications are not provided.
