The Race Tech Gold Valve Cartridge Fork Emulator FEGV S4101 is designed to significantly upgrade the performance of traditional damping rod forks. By integrating tunable valves directly onto the damping rods, this emulator effectively converts your existing fork setup to perform like a more sophisticated, high-end cartridge system. This upgrade results in noticeably smoother and more controlled damping characteristics, enhancing overall stability and providing the rider with improved feedback from the terrain. Installation of the FEGV S4101 is straightforward, and its adjustable nature allows for fine-tuning to suit various riding conditions and individual rider preferences. The design places the tunable valves on top of the damping rods, where they are secured by the main springs. This configuration allows for precise control over damping. Race Tech claims that typical road race track tests have shown improvements of up to 2 seconds per lap with the installation of these emulators.
