The Garmin GPSMAP 8416 is a 16-inch full HD IPS touchscreen chartplotter designed for serious cruisers, sailors, and sail racers. It offers MFD (Multi-Function Display) performance in a combo-size package with wide viewing angles, superior clarity, and sunlight readability. The device is fully network capable with NMEA 2000® connectivity and the Garmin Marine Network, allowing for easy integration of radar, autopilots, cameras, instruments, and forward-looking sonar. It also features Bluetooth® connectivity, ANT® technology, Wi-Fi® networking, and Garmin SailAssist™ for critical sailing data and prerace guidance. SmartMode™ station controls provide quick, one-touch access to information. The chartplotter includes expandable memory for accessory map purchases like BlueChart® g3 and BlueChart® g3 Vision with Navionics data, including Auto Guidance technology. It also supports the optional GRID™ 20 remote input device and the ActiveCaptain® app for smartphone or tablet management.
