The Garmin GPSMAP 9217 is a premium, integrated 4K touchscreen chartplotter designed for captains and anglers who demand high performance and a luxurious experience on the water. It features an edge-to-edge glass helm design with a sunlight-readable IPS display and boasts up to 7 times faster processing power than previous generations. It supports extensive networking capabilities with gigabit speeds on the Garmin BlueNet™ network, enabling integration with multiple chartplotters, cameras, radars, and sonars. The device includes preloaded Garmin Navionics+™ charts with Auto Guidance+™ technology (subscription required for daily updates), and also supports Garmin Navionics Vision+™ charts with premium relief shading and satellite imagery. It offers entertainment options with audio and video integrations across the network and Garmin Sailassist™ sailing features, including laylines, race start line guidance, and sailing polars.
