GR Corolla / GR Yaris High-Performance Tube & Fin Intercooler

This high-performance intercooler boasts a stepped core design that maximizes surface area contact and internal air-flow volume, increasing core volume by 45% and surface area by 73% compared to the OEM unit. This advanced design allows for superior heat transfer and more efficient charge air cooling. Constructed with a high-performance tube and fin core and 100% TIG-welded cast aluminum end tanks, this intercooler offers enhanced strength and durability over the stock unit's crimped plastic tanks. It utilizes motorsport-grade, 5-ply silicone hoses with larger 2.5-inch (63.5mm) inlet and outlet connections, stepping up from the factory's 1.85-inch (47mm) diameter. The intercooler is designed as a true "drop-in fit," mounting in the factory location without requiring modifications to the bumper or crash bar. However, minor trimming of the OEM air ducting is necessary to guide air into the upper stepped core. Testing by MotoIQ revealed that the CSF x Jackson Racing Intercooler reduced charge air temperatures by over 240°F, a significant improvement of 90°F compared to the OEM intercooler. This results in substantially lower intake air temperatures (IATs) and extended resistance to heat soak, maintaining cooler charge air temperatures even under demanding conditions. The intercooler is available in a Silver finish (8285) for an OEM look or a Black finish (8285B) for a stealthier appearance. This intercooler is confirmed to fit the 2025+ GR Corolla models with both automatic and manual transmissions. For the GR Yaris (2020+), fitment requires some modifications; contact CSF for details.
