Description

The VIS Racing DTM Style hood is a performance-oriented replacement panel that upgrades your vehicle's factory look with a commanding, race-ready aesthetic. The hood utilizes a vacuum-infused single-mold process, featuring a top layer of carbon fiber bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with a UV-protective polyurethane clear coat for a high-gloss appearance. A one-piece smooth underside shell is fused to the main body to enhance structural integrity, with hand-smoothed edges for a consistent finish. Professional installation is recommended for this body component. Because this is a lightweight aftermarket panel, the manufacturer explicitly recommends the use of hood pins for safety; please note that hood pins are sold separately and are not included with the shipment. This component is custom-made for specific Mercedes-Benz E-Class models from 2010 to 2015. Please ensure your vehicle is within this range to guarantee proper fitment, as this is a vehicle-specific part.
