Each unit is constructed with a forged SAE4140 chromoly steel ball stud and a robust forged SAE1045 housing. This ball joint is compatible with 1986-1989 Toyota 4Runner and 1986-1989 Toyota Pickup 4WD models. Please note that for 1989 Toyota 4Runner and Pickup models, this part only fits vehicles manufactured until 3/31/89. Each vehicle requires two units, and the package includes the essential installation components: mounting hardware, a castle nut, a cotter pin, and a grease fitting. Proforged validates its designs through extensive testing, including hardness checks, microstructure analysis, and cycle testing for durability. The product should be installed by a professional to ensure correct fitment, as the provided fitment guide serves only as a general reference for identifying application suitability.
