The precision grinding of its seal and bearing surfaces further enhances the life of these critical components. This universal joint features a bearing cap diameter of 1.125 inches and a length of 2.556 inches between snap rings. It is designed with an internal snap ring (ISR) style and comes with a grease zerk for regular lubrication, which helps to extend its service life by allowing contaminants to be flushed out. The bearing cap type is described as a round with an ISR groove, and the bearing cap finish is ground. Compatibility is noted with GM 3R series driveshafts, including models like SAGINAW 44 and AAM 1344.
