GrimmSpeed Cold Air Intake Black Subaru WRX STI 2002-2007 Forester XT 2004-2008

The GrimmSpeed Cold Air Intake (Part Number 60074) is a hybrid cold air/short ram design that aims to reduce restriction, provide accurate and consistent MAF sensor readings, and properly filter out harmful particles. It features a custom reusable high-flow air filter with an integrated velocity stack, and a StealthBox heatshield designed to keep hot air away from the filter and conceal unsightly engine bay components like the ABS pump and power steering pump reservoir. The intake tube is fabricated from 5052 aluminum, and the MAF flanges and air straightener are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum. All components are TIG welded and powder-coated for durability and aesthetics. The air filter is positioned to prevent water/hydrolocking concerns. This intake requires professional tuning and is not compatible with factory tunes or off-the-shelf maps. Dyno testing on a 2006 WRX showed gains of over 13 ft-lbs of torque and 18 horsepower.
