This hub is machined from A311 Steel Alloy and features a zinc plating for corrosion resistance. The purpose of this hub is to allow 2019-2021 WRX owners to use GrimmSpeed's lightweight crank pulleys, addressing the OEM design's integration of the rear hub into the pulley itself. This modification aims to reduce the weight of the rotating assembly for freer engine revving.
